Biography:
Dr. Gao has a solid polymeric materials background and extensive experience with medical device design, prototyping, and evaluation. His lab provides plastic, rubber, and other biomaterial related services, including routine technical service. Expertise: Dip coating, spin casting, gravity-fed casting in customized short run tooling, compression molding, injection molding, 3-D rapid prototyping, Pro-Engineer, CAD, Solid Edge software, various coating techniques and basic plastics machining, as well as hand lay-up work.
